

Gillette was a bookkeeper for Morgan Keegan and loved hosting work parties. She wanted everyone to be celebrated and was always making sure everyone was having fun.
Gillette was known for her smile, big heart, and her love for her family. She enjoyed time at the lake sitting on the porch enjoying the view. She loved bird watching and always made sure they had plenty to eat. They were longstanding members of Gardendale Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Harris (wife, Melissa); her grandchildren, Isabella Lett (husband, Coleman) and Collin Harris (wife, MacKenzie); and her great-grandchild, Troy Lett. She also came to love her multiple step-grandchildren and their children. She is survived by her brothers, James Woods, Carlos Woods, and Jimmy Woods (wife, Alisa) and in-laws, Paul, Marilyn, and Linda.
She is preceded in death by parents, William Arnold and Osborne Sartain Woods , siblings, Garland (wife, Deanna), Wilma Ilene (husband, Ray), Ora Mae, William, and Dennis, and in-laws, Linda and Linda.
A visitation and funeral will be held on Thursday, July 9th at Ridout’s in Gardendale. The family will receive friends and family starting at 1 pm and the service will begin at 2 pm. There will be a graveside service following the service at Oakwood Memorial Cemetery in Gardendale. Pallbearers will be Mike Valenti, Wesley Estes, Steven Woods, Walker Woods, Winston Woods, and Michael Woods. Nephew, Matt Woods will officiate.
Gillette will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew her, but her memory will be with us forever.
