Glenda Rona Faulkner, age 73, of Mount Olive, Alabama passed away on Friday May 10, 2019. Glenda was born June 4, 1945. Glenda was born and raised in Pell City, Al and attended Jemison High and graduated in 1963. She lived and worked in Birmingham and was employed with Central Bank and Trust for 41 years. Glenda loved her family, friends, fur babies, and the Alabama Crimson Tide. She loved her friends as family and they were inseparable. She enjoyed shopping and furnishing her home. She loved tending to her flowers, yard, and home. Glenda was loving, kind, and generous to a fault. She was shy and soft spoken - until game day! Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Rona Diantha Walton Faulkner and Willie Olburn Faulkner, brother, Francis Mation Faulkner, brother-in-law, and Wilson E. Brown. She is survived by her sister, Jayne F. Brown, nieces, Lisa Brown Duty, Kimberly A. Brown, grandniece, Maranda Brown, grandnephews, Mason wright, and Max Wright, her friends Sylvia Capps, Lori Capps (and extended family), Betty Mareno and her family as well as other friends and former coworkers

A celebration of life visitation for Glenda will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Friday, May 17, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur on Saturday May 18, 2019 at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Us Highway 431 N, Phenix City, Alabama 36867-2300.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Glenda. Any event we had birthdays, cookouts whatever Glenda would be there. She was like a part of the Hamilton family and we will miss her.
Rest In Peace sweet Glenda.
