Gloria Ann Russell, of Centreville, Alabama, formerly of Fultondale, Alabama, passed away on September 21, 2026. Gloria lived life to the fullest. She was the first child born to Herbert and Ethel Hays. Until her marriage to William, Gloria lived at home, where she helped her parents and her sister, Gail. In married life, Gloria loved her husband and children with a faithful and giving love. She loved serving in church as a preschool teacher. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved serving in church as a preschool teacher. She was faithful in supporting and helping her husband in his ministry. Gloria loved visiting lighthouses, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and ... Gloria is survived by her loving husband, William L. Russell; her children, Glenn Russell (TeeJey) and Crystal Russell; grandchildren, Caleb Gaddy (Sarah), Seth Gaddy (Lacey), and Dylan Garrett (Lindsey); great-granddaughters, Eva, and Emery Garrett, and Emerson Gaddy; her sister, and many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ethel Hays (E and Papa), her daughter, Sondra Russell, and sister Jennifer Gail. Gloria will be remembered for the faithful and giving love she shared so freely with those around her. Her devotion to her family, her willingness to serve, and the many memories created throughout her life will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Although she will be deeply missed, her family can find comfort in knowing that the love and faith she poured into their lives will continue through the generations she leaves behind. Services for Gloria will be held on Thursday September 24, 2026 with visitation beginning at 11:00am, with service to follow at 1:00pm. All services are rendered by Ridout Gardendale Chapel located at 2029 Decatur Highway in Gardendale Alabama 35071.
