Gregory Richard Jones, a resident of Warrior, AL, was born on January 14th, 1959, and passed away on January 22nd, 2017 at the age of 58. He is preceded in death by Marsha, his wife of 25 years. He is survived by his son, Jared, parents Sallie and Thomas, brothers Thomas and David and sister Sharon.
Greg loved broadcast television and worked in television for over 30 years, working at various television stations throughout the state. He loved cars and enjoyed working on his cars in his spare time. He also enjoyed antiques and collecting rare finds. He was a great husband and father, often helping out friends and family wherever he could. Greg was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church.
Service will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11am in Gardendale, Alabama. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service. Floral arrangements may be sent to Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel.
