

He attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with his degree in mining engineering. He significantly contributed to commercial street and freeway development in Alabama and Tennessee.
He enjoyed World War II history, gospel and country music, hunting, fishing, and enjoying time with friends and family. As a youth, he gave his life to the Lord and was baptized into the Church of Christ. His favorite bible verse was Psalms 19:14.
He is survived by his loving wife, Myra Middleton; sisters, Sharon Middleton Mills (Bertram Brosowsky) and Jean Middleton Garland (Michael); and nieces, Margaret Price Taylor and Katherine Price Cottle (George).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Edwin Middleton and Margaret Keith Middleton; and nephew Wiley Keith Mills.
A visitation for Harold will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, followed by a celebration of life service at 4:00 pm.
