Hazel Elizabeth Creel

She was born on July 24, 1932, to Sam and Stella Johnson of Warrior, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Haden Creel; her son, Wesley Creel; son-in-law, Richard McFalls; and sisters, Nell Isbell and Betty Ryan.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry McFalls; son, Jeff (Linda); grandchildren, Jeremy Creel (April), Jason Creel (Traci), and Tracy Creel; She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gwin Johnson; and sisters, Jimmye Ryan and Jean Deason.

Mrs. Creel was a faithful member of Enon Baptist Church in Morris.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 2, at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel located at 2029 Decatur Highway Gardendale, Alabama 35071. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Compassus Hospice, Sheila, Pat, and Lisa for their loving care and support in recent months.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund at Enon Baptist Church.
