A resident of the Morris community, Hazel worked as a wedding caterer and held a deep faith as part of the Baptist congregation. She will be deeply missed.
Hazel is preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Creel; her son, James E. Creel Jr.; her parents; and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Norman Davis; her son, Larry Creel, and his wife, Sherri; her stepson, Cory Davis, and his wife, Lydia; as well as her grandchildren Derek Creel and his wife, Heather; Zachary Creel; Seth Creel; and her step-grandchildren, Hayley Davis and Dalton Davis; and great-grandchildren Michaela Creel and James Creel.
A visitation for Hazel will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel.
Hazel will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
