Helen Manning Chandler of Warrior AL. was born on Tuesday, December 6th, 1932 and passed away on Thursday, April 4th, 2013 at the age of 80. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Joseph E. Chandler; children, Stephen A. Chandler (Patti), Debra J. Chandler, Kathryn C. Payne (Tony); grandchildren, Emily Gibson, Melissa Parker, Joseph Payne, Stephanie Chandler, Max Chandler, Caroline Chandler; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Thomas, Ashlyn Sims, Ty Goodwin, River Goodwin, Chandler Gibson. great-great grandchildren: Bently Payne, Clayden Bryant, Preston Bryant, Lulu Chandler and a host of friends.
Achievements: Head Administrator at Jones Valley High School 27 years Retired 1995. A Jones Valley graduate an Nall Honor Society 1948, 1949, 1950 . An Eastern Star member. The Birmingham News who's-who "Selling as a Career" 1949. State Fair 1946 for sewing. A UAB graduate Associate Degree in Business/Accounting. Accomplishments: Marrying Earle Chandler and having a nice family and a good life. Her favorite memories are family gatherings.
