Jack M. Harland

Jack Marshall Harland, age 85 a resident of Gardendale for over 36 years passed away Monday, May 2nd, 2016. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who was well loved and will be greatly missed. Jack retired from U.S. Pipe and loved spending time with his family as well as his friends at the Fultondale Senior’s Center. He enjoyed fishing, yard sales, but most of all was a great “Alabama Football Fan” collecting all the pictures he could find. Jack enjoyed his church family at Christway Church of God in Gardendale. He was preceded in death by his parents and all his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Renae Harland and his children, Jackie Harland (Patti), Beverly Matthews (Rodney), Dan Harland (Connie), Brandon Huffstutler (Amy), and Bret Huffstutler (Misty); a host of grandchildren and many great grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held Thursday, May 5th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Brother Freddy Bryant and Brother Donnie Sanders will officiate the service.
