Bill, Julie, Melissa, CJ: I just found out about Jackie's passing. She was my co-worker and buddy at UAB in Behavioral Sciences. I wish I could turn back time and spend more time with her. I wish I would have made some trips to Morris and joined her for tea and light refreshments at her favorite lil bistro. Brian M

My heart grieves for all of you. By the time I found Jackie through many Facebook searches, her health had deteriorated too much for us to chat and catch up. Jackie and I became close friends when y'all moved to Fairmont. I remember when she got her 1965 Mustang! It was a 3-speed that she learned to drive on her way home from the car lot! I was a bridesmaid in their wedding. Life happens; and I moved away. I have always cherished the friendship we shared and sincerely regret that I could not locate her sooner. I pray that God will bring you peace.

I worked with Jackie in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at UAB. She was very good at her job and always willing to help others. She loved her family and spoke of them often. She was always giving us updates on CJ. My deepest sympathy to her family and also to her friend, Lorraine.

Linda, you and Jackie were great teenagers to live next door to in Fairmont. I have often thought of those days and have many fond memories of growing up next door to your family. Your family has my prayers and my deepest sympathy. I will remember you always! Please let your dad know that he too is in my prayers. God Bless You and hold you close during this time that you need him most.
