He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Sprayberry Worthington, four children, Bart (Tonya) Worthington Jr., Brad (Lisa) Worthington Sr., Baron (Diane) Worthington, and Blair (Jeff) Parmley, grandchildren, Jack Worthington III, Bradis Worthington Jr., Braxton Worthington (Courtney), Brittley Worthington, and Adele Worthington.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Bessie Morris Worthington and sister Bobbie Lee Worthington.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation on Tuesday August 19th at 10:00 am with service to follow at 11:00 am at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel. The committal will take place shortly after the services have ended at Moncrief Cemetery.
