Born July 1, 1987, died Thursday, March 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marilyn K. Mitchell Ervin. Jacob is survived by his parents: Hank Ervin (Tammy) and Jera Ervin; grandparents: Jane and Jerrald Hannah and Judy Ervin; great grandmother, Ressie Deason; 2 sisters: LaShelle Kinney (Ronnie) and Brittney K. Ervin-Roper (Adam); 2 uncles: Courtney Keith Ervin (Paula) and Joel Hannah (Rhondia); aunt, Paula K. Marquez; 2 nieces: Shelby Robinson and Alyssa K. Roper; his best friends: Cameron Haefner, Nathan Thomas, Anthony Ravani, and Rachael Carter; his loving soul mate, Emily “Babe” Atwood; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the funeral home at 12:00 pm.
