James Edward "Eddie" Connell Jr.

James Edward “Eddie” Connell, Jr., a resident of Adamsville, Alabama was born in Birmingham, Alabama on May 3, 1971 and passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the age of 46. Eddie was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to hunt and fish. He was the president of the J J & M Hunting Club. He enjoyed his work and had a very satisfying career at Saiia Construction Company. He cherished his family and loved the time he had to spend with them, he will be greatly missed.

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby Bailey and Bill Bailey.

Eddie is survived by his grandparents, Mary Cox and Edward Johnson (Elizabeth); parents, James, Sr. and Peggy Connell; his loving wife of 23 years, Toni Connison Connell; two sons, Jessie Connell and Justin Connell; a daughter, Megan Connell; a brother, Tony Connell (Kelly); a sister, Kathy Connell (Douglas Wilson); a granddaughter, Mia Lillith Audrey Connell; nephews, Dylan Callahan, Mason Connison, Jeremy Connison, Brandon Connison, and Jase Connison; nieces, Victoria Duncan, Kennedy Connison, and Audrey Connison, many other family members and a host of friends.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a Celebration of Life visitation Saturday, Feb 17, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm; funeral service Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2:00pm, followed by his entombment in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum. Rev. John Norris will be officiating.
