James Ed Foshee, age 72 of Guntersville, AL passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014. He was a resident of Guntersville, AL for the past 6 years but was formerly of Ansonia, Ohio. He was retired from the County Highway Department with over 35 years of service. He was a wonderful and loving husband, a great Dad, and Pappaw who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jimmie Virginia Foshee. Survivors include three sons, Gary Foshee, Terry Foshee, and Kerry Foshee; grandchildren, Ryan Foshee, Ashley Foshee, Harlee Cross, Ethan Cross, Cheynne Foshee, Aiden Foshee, K.J. and Peyton Foshee; a brother, Rev. Ronald Foshee who will be officiating services.
Chapel funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23rd, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel beginning at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
