James L. Laningham "Larry" 76 of Warrior passed away on Sunday May 7th 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents James A and Gladys "Ruth" (McPherson) Laningham and sister Peggy. He is survived by his aunt Grace Reid of Boise Idaho, niece Leslie (Joseph) Reid, great niece Jena and great nephew Logan of Warrior. Larry was a retiree from U.S. Armed Forces (Army) and Birmingham Police Department.
A visitation for Larry will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel.
