James "Sonny" "Sonny" Reese

James Murray “Sonny” Reese, age 72 of Morris passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 surrounded by his family and friends. He was greeted in heaven by his parents, Fayette and Bessie Reese. Sonny was a member of Hughes Memorial Baptist Church and worked at Tom Williams Buick for 40 years and retired as the Body Shop Forman. He enjoyed Bradford baseball, Atlanta Braves, fishing, hunting and fellowshipping with friends and family. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Doris Marie Prince Reese; son, James Randall Reese (Sandy); daughter, Regina Doris Hall (Randy); three grandsons: Juston Nail, Cody Nail and Jeremiah Reese; one granddaughter, Laci Reese; four great grandchildren; sister, Lucy Kate Reese Adkins; niece, Glenda Kay McCombs; and a host of other nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Hopewell Cemetery in Pinson. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He will truly be missed, but the memories of my Husband, my Daddy, Brother, Paw-Paw and Friend will be in our hearts forever.
