James was a member of Brookside Church of God and worked throughout his life as a welder and fabricator. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and took great pleasure in collecting NASCAR replicas over the years. While these were among the things he enjoyed, nothing meant more to James than spending time with his family. The moments shared with those he loved were truly among his greatest joys.
James is lovingly survived by his wife, Margaret Turner; his sons, James Edward Turner Jr., Mark Turner (Renee), and Matthew Turner (Michelle); six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
James will be remembered for the life he lived, the work of his hands, and most especially for the love he shared with his family. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
