James Harold Wells (Jimmy) was born on January 6th 1937 , and passed on August 30th 2020, at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Riley Wells and Mary Ann McBee Wells; six brothers, Wharton, Paschal, Hubbard, Robert, Lindsay and Wayne Wells; five sisters, Margueriette Layne, Juanita Jackson, Marium English, Geraldine Andrews and Jane Bearden; his wife, Barbara Morgan Wells, and son, James Dennis Wells. He is survived by his sons, John Riley Wells and Charles Alan Wells. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and six great grand kids. Mr. Wells was retired from the city of Birmingham since 1999. He was a big fan of Alabama football, and the Atlanta Braves..(re-runs and all.) He will be missed, but now is resting comfortably, and for that we are greatfull.
