Jeanette C. Estes

Jeanette C. Estes, aged 75, of Gardendale, Alabama, passed away on November 4, 2025. Born on November 2, 1950, Jeanette graduated from Gardendale High School in 1968. She worked at BellSouth/AT&T after graduating high school until retiring in 2008.

Jeanette loved to travel, going to the beach, church events, and daily active events with her son, Wade. She loved people and made friends wherever she went.

Jeanette was a member of the East Gardendale Baptist Church and also attended the Grand Old Gospel House for Worship.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Kathleen Coggins, her husband Richard A. Estes, and her life partner in love Charles H. Lucas.

Jeanette leaves behind her son, Wade Hagood, and extended family, Lisa Wood (Craig), Lisa Graham (Chris), granddaughters Cynthia Graham, Crislyn Rawson (Nick), Grace Graham, Anne Graham, 7 great granddaughters, and many friends with which she touched by knowing her.

A visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, located at 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama, 35071, on November 7, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at the Grand Old Gospel House, situated at 732 N Pine Hill Rd, Birmingham, Alabama, 35217, on November 8, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am.
