Jeffery Arnold Harrison

Butch worked for A&P Grocers as a butcher for 20 years then worked and retired from Associated Grocers as a supervisor in the Perishable Food department.

He loved all Alabama sports, especially football. He enjoyed camping, a well-kept yard, cleaning his floors daily, NASCAR and detailing his own personal vehicle.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Rebecca A. Harrison; parents, Fred O. & Jessie I. Harrison; brother, Eugene “Gene” Harrison; sisters and brother in laws, Dell & Lindsey Wells, Emma & Clyde Hames; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Brenda & John Huddleston.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Alesia & Dennis Kinard; son, Jeffery Harrison; grandchildren, Kathryn (Katie) and Jarret Harrison; daughter in law, Kristy Harrison; and many loved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Jeffery will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
