Jimmie Dee Alexander Graves of Fultondale, AL passed away on Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 at the age of 91. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Graves was a longtime member of Gardendale’s First Baptist Church where she was very active over the years in the pre-school department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira B. Graves; her son, Steve Graves; a grandchild, Cassie Brake; two sisters and a brother. She is survived by a son, Randy Graves (Rhonda); her sister, Gayle Grantham; grandchildren, Grady Graves (Sonya), Lee Graves (Jill), Danielle Culverhouse (Chris), and Christopher Morris (Elizabeth); twelve great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, December 6th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 8 PM followed by chapel services on Thursday morning beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Moncrief Cemetery.
