Jimmy L. Beard

Jimmy Lee Beard, age 67, of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. Jimmy was born November 14, 1954. Jimmy had a long career of over 30 years as a truck driver and he retired from Evergreen Transportation and he was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Eugene and Bobby Jean Beard; two sons, Shane Beard and David Bozeman; and two brothers, Pete Beard and Robert Beard. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Jennifer Beard; one son, Danny Beard; one daughter, Stephanie Reaves (Lee); four sisters, Paula Livingston (Rodney), Roberta Sanders (Robbie), Mary Jackson, and Ethel Yarborough (Joey); four grandchildren, Devon Beard, Luke Harris, Dylan Harris, and Myles Sketoe, several nieces, nephews, and friends. Services for Jimmy will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM a funeral service at 11:00 AM; followed by his burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071. Service officated by Jeremiah Wade. Pall Bearers are; Danny Beard, Reuben Osuna, Jay Jenkins, Chris Morrow, Chad Payner, and Robbie Towns.
