

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Sue Camp, his parents, Alice & Clifton Camp, his brother, Ken Camp, and his sister Martha Camp Pledger.
He was survived by his brother, Bobby Camp (Dot), daughter, Joni Dial (Jody), his son, James Camp (Kimberly), his grandchildren, Beau Dial (Wendy), Jordan Dial, Jecca Nix (Stephen), Alex Camp, & Jonah Camp, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School in 1951 and then joined the Unites States Air Force in 1952 and honorably discharged in 1959. Jimmy faithfully served his family as a valued and loyal employee of Teamsters. Jimmy and his precious wife, Sue Camp, attended Gardendale First Baptist Church where they were both active for many years.
The family will have visitation at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Sunday, September 9, 2018. The funeral will be at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with a graveside with military honors immediately following.
