

Tommy had a deep love for hunting and fishing, passions that brought him peace and joy throughout his life. In his later years, he found simple happiness caring for his chickens. Above all else, his greatest pride and joy was his family—especially his grandchildren, who meant the world to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Earline Crane; brothers, Howard Crane and James Crane.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Ellaweise T. Crane; sons; Barry T. Crane (Cheryl), John Bartley (Bart) Crane (Danica). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren; Caitlin, John Colby, and Sophie. Sisters; Dean Brockway, Sue Oldham, and Brenda Colley. Brother; Burks Crane.
Tommy will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of the outdoors, and the deep devotion he showed to his family. His
legacy lives on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation for Tommy will be held on Thursday May 14, 2026, from 6-8pm, and again on Friday May 15, 2026, from 10-11am, with a Celebration of Life service following at 11:00am. All services rendered by Ridout Gardendale Chapel 2029 Decatur Hwy Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
