John Lamar Hill, age 78, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. He was survived by his loving wife Leila R Hill; brother in law, Kenneth G Parks; niece, Lindsey Lawrence (Shawn); step children, Johnny Wilder (Lisa), Harold Wilder, (Kathy), Jason Wilder (Dale), Angela Gilmore (Frankie); grandchildren, Jarrod Wilder (Jessie), Tristan Wilder, Megan Wilder, Ashton Wilder, Chandler Wilder, Justin Wilder (Erica), Cheyanne DeWolfe (Dom), Joshua Gilmore, Katelyn Gilmore; great grandchildren, Nevaeh Wilder, Talia Wilder, Eli Wilder, Dillon DeWolfe, Addison DeWolfe.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM followed by burial at the adjoining Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
