Age 73 passed away peacefully on December 4, 2014, at Cullman Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother Irene Creel Smith. He is survived by his son Scott Lind; sister, Mary Hargreaves (Trev); brother, Michael Deal (Patti); Aunt Gracie Fell, Aunt Margaret Dean, Uncle Bob Creel (Anita). A host of precious nieces and nephews, dear cousins. Precious friends from Hanceville High School where he graduated. He enjoyed going to the High School reunions after coming home from living in Pheniox, Arizona for 40 years. His lifelong friend Horace Swann will be officiating the service. The family would like to express appreciation to the staff and friends at USA Cullman health care and Cullman regional hospital for their kindness and care of our brother. We would also like to thank the kindness and excellent service of the staff of Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel for taking care of us.
