John was preceded in death by two sons, Jonathan Cole and John Cole and a step-father, Herbert Dowdell.
John is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Chekila Toodle; father, John Toodle, Sr. (Jill), mother Brenda Dowdell; daughters Jermeysia, Jermeria, Ambry, and J'Kai; brothers, Joshua Toodle and Josiah Toodle, sisters, Atasha Rogers, Jillian Toodle, and Kiana Toodle, grandchildren, Jonathan Cole, Jaleah Cole, Chloe Mitchell, and Chlia Mitchell; best friends, LeNardo Oliver and Emmanuel Weeks; special friend, Jacqueline Brown, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service for John will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.
