Johnnie was a personification of fighting spirit and strength. Many loved him for being a man of God, with strong morals, family values, and simplicity. Johnnie was a hard worker, who enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids, and most importantly, his beloved grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Kelly Karrh Sr.; his mother Gloria Patton; his sister-in-law, Kay Karrh and a nephew, R.J. Delker. Johnnie leaves behind his wife, Lynn Karrh; his children, Johnnie Ray, Kristen Dunn, Jeffrey Garrett, Jadah Mote and her husband Skiler. His most beloved grandchildren, Alex, Winter and Charlie Karrh, Ryder and Rayden Dunn, Paitlynn and Samuel Myers, and Dallice Garrett; his siblings Brenda Karrh, Kelly Karrh Jr., Tim Karrh and wife Linda, Pam Williams and husband Curtis, his nieces and nephews, Rebekah Delker, her children Abagayle and Joseph, Clint Karrh and his wife Trinity, Aaron Williams and his wife Ting, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and extended relatives; his special friends, Jeff Neil and his late wife Rhonda, Deana and Ashlia Wright and their children Aubrey and Reyson, and Mike and Debbie Shelton.
Johnnie will always be remembered for his immense love for all things Alabama Football, his passion for NASCAR and motorsports, and his exceptional cooking and grilling skills. Feeding his family and friends was one of his greatest joys in life. However, what made Johnnie truly special was the love he had for the people closest to him. His family meant everything to him, and he never missed a chance to tell anyone about them. He would share stories for days about his childhood experiences, things he had accomplished, and his memories with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His eyes would light up with joy as he reminisced about these moments. Johnnie was cherished beyond words, and his absence will be felt forever.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 11:00 am. A Committal Service will be held at Crestview Cemetery, 4304 Johnson Street Adamsville, Alabama.
