Joseph Rex Mansell, age 67 of Hanceville, AL passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Rex enjoyed pulling for his favorite football team, his "Auburn Tigers"! He is survived by his wife, Mary Mansell; daughters, Monica Tyler and Ronda Vari; sons, DeWayne Moore and Jason Mansell; a brother, William Roy Mansell, Jr.; and a sister, Rachel Sharp; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Robert Sharp officiating services.
