

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Forney & Jackie Naylor, her brother, David Earl Naylor, her sister, Dora (Ray) Marsh and a great-grandson, Cooper Ramey.
Joyce is survived by H. M. (Mack) Finney, Jr, husband of 59 years; children, Dawn (Will) Poole, Mike (Pam) Finney; grandchildren, Christina (Clinton) Ramey, Jamie (Ryan) Cash, Elizabeth Ryan Finney, Lucas Finney, Hayden Finney, Mallori Finney and Matthew Fernandes; great-grandchildren, Fiona, Colton, Carsyn, Kennedy and Griffin. Her remaining siblings are Elaine Watson, Wanda (Leon) Gibbs, Bill (Janet) Naylor, Mamie (Bob) Gilbert & Phillip Naylor. Her caregiver was Joy Cowan, whom her family loves dearly.
Born in Birmingham, she graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School class of 1958. She was an active member of the United Methodist Women, a member of the DAR, and was an honorary member (LTC) of the State Defense Force. Joyce had many talents and hobbies, and was known for her beautiful hand sewing and cross stitch. She and Mack served 40 years in fulltime service to the United Methodist Church and several others in retirement. Her main focus was her family and her children, especially the grandkids.

Services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation to begin at 1:00pm; funeral at 2:00pm, followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
