Our dad had suffered a stroke and he was unable to do anything without help. He hated going anywhere because it was painful for him but we talked him into going to Juanita‘s for a Family Thanksgiving dinner. He enjoyed it so much that he said we should do this every year! Juanita being the person that she was saw that that was done. I believe that was a year before dad died and we have been having Thanksgiving dinner at Juanita‘s and Dan’s ever since then. The one exception was last year due to Covid.I said this to show what a loving and caring person my sister was. 1Th 4:13 - But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

1Th 4:14 - For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting your mom. I know from the way you live your life, the way you treat people and the kindness that you show others..., that your mom had to be a beautiful lady. My thoughts and prayers are that you continue to have that beautiful smile that the two of you share!

As I shared with Laura, my memories of Juanita are so joyful. She was quiet but always listening to us young girls and sharing some good advice and often shocked at our ventures. Her laughter brought smiles to our faces. She was an awesome coworker and friend at Protective Life. She always asked me if I knew her daughter, Laura (I didn't at the time) but then was blessed to work with Laura at Metro Bank.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Laura. I loved your mom and love you. Blessed to know both.
