Karen Thomas Keeling of Mt. Olive, Al, was born on November 11, 1952 and passed away peacefully on April 28, 2017 at the age of 64. Karen was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Warrior and she has worked for 24 years with the Warrior Police Department.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Thomas Bailey; step father, Sebron Bailey; her father, Euel Thomas; her grandparents, John and Linnie Thomas, and Robert and Leta Odom; and a brother, Jerry Thomas.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Rex Keeling; daughter, Allison Keeling; son, Alan Keeling; granddaughter, Molly Keeling; grandson, Jaxon Keeling; sister, Janice Weichler; brother, Steven Bailey; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 with a visitation at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 12:30pm until 1:30pm and a Graveside service at Odom Nail Cemetery on Old Mt. Olive Road, Mt Olive, AL. The service will be officiated by Rev. Sammy Reed.
