Kay Pee

Kay was born on April 14, 1940.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a servant’s heart. Kay served and cared for everyone around her. She had a passion for cooking, baking and gardening. She was a member of The Red Hat Society and Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Kay worked for Bell South for 31 years before retiring. She will be dearly missed.

Kay is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Pee; parents, James and Orris Jones; sister, Carolyn Jones Moore and brother, Bruce Jones.

She is survived by her son, Nathan Pee (Carol); daughter, Kelley Mitchell Cobb (James); grandson, Lee Cobb; granddaughter Kourtney Cobb Hill (Jason); great granddaughters, Tensley and Finley Hill and sister, Janice Jones Cheston (Randy) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life visitation for Kay will be held on May 7th 2019 from 10 am-11 am at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 12 pm in Forest Hill Cemetery.
