Landi Gale Stephens, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love that will continue through her children and all those who knew her.
Born on May 25, 1984, Landi lived a life full of adventure, love, and unforgettable experiences. She was a true world traveler, spending part of her childhood and young adult years living in Germany. Her time abroad became a meaningful part of who she was, giving her a love for traveling, experiencing new places, and creating memories that she carried with her throughout her life.
Above all else, Landi was a mother. Her five children were the greatest part of her life and will carry her memory forward: Brynle Smyly (Zach), Haleigh Brazil, Hayden Brazil, Justin Stephens, and Colton Stephens. Her love for her children was immeasurable, and her presence will forever remain a part of their lives. Landi is survived by her mother, Robbin Chaney, and her five children, and countless family members and friends who loved her deeply. She is also survived by her former husband, Chris Stephens, and all those whose lives she touched throughout her journey.
Though her passing breaks our hearts, we find comfort knowing that Landi is no longer suffering and is now at peace. She is welcomed into Heaven by her beloved father, Michael Chaney, who undoubtedly greeted her with open arms. Landi’s life may have come to an end far too soon, but the love she gave, the memories she created, and the lives she touched will never be forgotten. Her children will carry her with them in every chapter of their lives, and she will remain forever loved, forever missed, and forever a part of their hearts.
