Larry Craig Gann

Larry Craig Gann, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on March 16, 2025 at the age of 82. He is survived by his cherished wife of 59 years, Eugenia Bozeman Gann, daughters Carol Gann Harper (Chris Harper) and Gena Gann Childers (Dave Childers), and granddaughters Amanda Anderson, Lily Childers, and Maggie Childers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ydell and Lucille Gann, of Winfield, Alabama.

Larry was born in Birmingham on February 6, 1943. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1961 and continued his education at University of Montevallo and Alverson Draughon Business College. Larry proudly served in the Army National Guard of Alabama from 1964-1970. He and wife Eugenia married in 1965 and lived in Center Point Alabama, until moving to Gardendale in 2018. They have been faithful members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church since 1967.

A skilled photographer, Larry made his living capturing beautiful moments at weddings, sports events and school occasions. He was a talented pianist who loved to travel, and loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. Most of all, Larry was a faithful Christian and we are comforted knowing that he is now with our Lord.

Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Saturday March 22, 2025 at 10:00am, with service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Larry’s name to Ridgecrest Baptist Church at 7789 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville AL 35173.
