Larry was 77 years old and originally from Tarrant, Al. He was a resident of the Gardendale area for 42 years. He retired from ABC-Drummond in Tarrant after over 40 years. He was an active member of Gardendale First Baptist Church for 42 years. He had a servant’s heart to help in so many ways. His hot chocolate cup had his nick name of “Mr. Fix it”. He always had a story to tell.
Larry enjoyed doing ceramics for over 50 years. Most recently he provided family, friends and neighbors ceramic Christmas trees.
The love of his life was Judy (Julia) Paul who he was married to for almost 40 years. His daughters were very special and kept him laughing anytime they were around. They helped him
fulfill a few bucket list trips to the Beach, the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Plus he had an opportunity to zip line with them.
He is survived by daughters Tiffany Ross, Tammy Olmstead (Jeff), Wanda Crum, and Kimberly Camp (James). He could always count on his son in laws for help when he needed it. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 5 great grands, his brother Joe Paul and brother in law Jerry Payne. He is predeceased by his parents Billy and Lois Paul, his sister Janice Payne, sister in
law Diane Paul and grandson Daniel Estes.
