Lawana Estell Gowins, age 58 of Mount Olive, AL passed away on Saturday, January 24th, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rena B. and Jasper J. Gowins. She is survived by her loving family, her brother Leland “Lee” Gowins and his wife, Caroline; a sister, Velera “Val” Taylor; nieces, Lisa Ann Hall, Valanda Taylor, Jennifer Robinson, and Sarah Latimer; and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation is planned for Monday, January 26th from 5 until 8 PM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with chapel services on Tuesday beginning at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. The family would especially like to thank Deborah Michael for all her loving care and help.
