Linda A. Duke

Linda Anita Duke of Gulf Shores, AL and formerly of Adamsville passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the age of 74. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Linda was a member of Oyster Bay Baptist Church in Gulf Shores and was a retired hairdresser. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Catherine Sullivan; and a son, Mark Duke. Linda is survived by her husband of over 57 years, Marston M. Duke; daughter-in-law, Rene Montabana and son-in-law, Tony Montabana; grandchildren, Rachel Smith, Marissa Montabana, and Brian Montabana; great-grandchildren, Lyric Saylor and Easton Smith; her sisters, Carolyn Harris and Susan Rottenberry; a brother, Mike Sullivan; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 1:45 PM with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Adamsville, AL. Pastor Jerry Peebles will officiate services. In lieu of flowers please make donations and memorials to Oyster Bay Baptist Church Building Fund, 4280 Plash Road, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
