Lonnie “LB” Baker of Hayden, AL passed away on Saturday, October 19th, 2013 at the age of 78. He loved his Lord, his family, and his church family at Locust Fork Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie O. and Velma H. Baker, and a brother, Bobby Baker. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Laura J. Baker; step-son, Gentry Nabors; step-daughter, Ginger Boggin (Mark); his brothers, Billy Baker, Harold Baker, and Johnny Baker; sisters, Marie Fields, Wynell Peak, Barbara Warren, Violet Baker, and Shelby Topazi. Lonnie was retired from the City of Birmingham Parking Authority and was a member of the Locust Fork Church of God.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23rd at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery in Hueytown AL. In lieu of flowers Lonnie wanted donations made to Locust Fork Church of God, 4242 County Road 13, Locust Fork, AL 35097.
