Mamie Louise Lively Birchfield, age 74 of Fultondale passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was a member of Walkers Chapel Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. Survivors include her son, Bryan Burchfield; daughter, Julie Smith (James); grandchildren: Samantha and Sara Smith; sister, Barbara Nell Gortney. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Walkers Chapel Baptist Church with burial in Moncrief Cemetery. Rev. Marcel Burchfield and Rev. Dan Nichols are officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
