Margaret Pugh

Margaret Pugh, age 91, of Hanceville, Alabama moved to heaven on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Margaret was born on April 16, 1930. Margaret was a wonderful, devoted, and caring mother of eight children and she also raised three of her grandchildren. She took a lot of pride in taking care of her family and loved spending time with them. She was a member of Hanceville First Baptist Church. She was loved by many and will be missed. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Asa Pugh, children: Carol Adams, Jimmy Pugh, April Pugh, and Tracy Johnson. Margaret is survived by her children Eloise Blankenship, Tiney Odom, Albert Pugh (Traci), and Teresa Hearon, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren; many other family members and a host of friends. Celebration of Life Services for Margaret will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL, with a time of visitation to begin at 10:00 AM; funeral service at 11:00 AM, followed by her burial in Hopewell Cemetery, Hanceville, AL.
