Margaret M. Shores a resident of Gardendale, passed away on December 18, 2014 at the age of 79. She was born in Muirkirk, Scotland and immigrated to the United States at the age of 12. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jeanie Girvin; son in law, Michael Garrett; great grandson Riley Garrett. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Olin Shores; Son, Olin Shores, Jr.; daughters, Beverly Drain (Ted), Jeannie Cataldo (Mark), Peggy Garrett, Patricia Goodwin (Greg); grandchildren, Mike Garrett, Amanda Drain, Steven Garrett, Ashley Booth and Allison Sultis; great grandchildren, Madyx Garrett, Conner Garrett, Micha Garrett, and Noah Garrett. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th, 2014, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 21st, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
