Marie was preceded in death by her father James Nix, mother Stella Nix and by brothers Jerry and Jimmy Nix. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Truman Dye; daughter, Linda Warren (Bill); son, Larry Dye (Rebecca); 3 grandsons, Trey Warren (Abby), Joshua Dye (Natalie) and Phillip Dye (Madeline); 1 granddaughter, Allison Whitehead (Bill); 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Myrl House and Peggy Leonard and a host of nieces and nephews.
Marie worked for AT&T before retiring to spend time with her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was a faithful member of Gardendale Mt Vernon Hope Church for over 50 years.
A visitation for Marie will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071.
