Born 8/26/1921, went to be with the Lord on 4/7/2012. Marie is survived by her daughter, Zona Stapler (Sam); 3 sisters: Lola Parsons, Eva Aldridge, and Leona Davis (Pharris); 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with funeral services on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Danny Murray.
