NELMS, Mark Alan, age 50 of Fultondale, AL, our beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2012 in an automobile accident. He was employed with Nixon Power Services. Mark was a member of the American Legion, a member of the NRA, an avid motorcyclist, Off-Road enthusiast and HAM Radio Operator (K4MAK).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Hayes Nelms Craddock of California. Mark is survived by his parents, Hilton D. Nelms and Shirley Johnson Nelms of Gardendale; brothers, Michael W. (Melanie) Nelms of Hayden and Barry H. (Dawn) Nelms of Hayden; nieces, Nicole Nelms Hall (Danny) of Helena, Ashley Nelms of Hayden, Rachel and Haylee Nelms of Hayden; aunt Sarah Shouse of Gardendale and a Host of other family and friends. A Chapel service will be held on Saturday, June 2nd at 2:30 p.m. with Burial to follow in Biven’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
