Matha Marie Eaton, age 90 passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Elizabeth Myrick Nail and Thomas Byrd Nail; sisters, Irene Smith, Ruby Fesperman, Alma Goodwin, and Pearl Beasley; brothers, Thomas L. Nail, and Howard Nail. She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Deborah Eaton Barton and son-in-law, Glenn A. Barton; grandson, Robert Alexander Barton and his wife, Shea; great grandchildren, Aidan Barton Abernathy and her husband, Kyle and Jonathan Alexander Barton; one sister, Mamie Lou Vaughan from hoover, AL.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
