Bea is survived by her husband, James C. Aaron, five children, nineteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Bea attended Gardendale Baptist Tabernacle for many years and was a life-long Sacred Harp singer. She retired from Birmingham Wholesale Furniture as an interior designer. Known for her generosity and helpful spirit, she was also an avid gardener. Pedestrians and motorists often stopped to admire her flowers. Visitors were offered a cup of fresh coffee, her drink of choice, while she discussed the merits of her favorite plants. Her fried okra was the dish most often requested by her children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, in Gardendale, Alabama on Friday, June 5, 2026, with public visitation at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service for the family and any that wish to attend will be held at Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery following the funeral service.
