Mary Catherine England

Mrs. England was a member of Walker Chapel United Methodist Church. She graduated from Jefferson County High School (now know as Tarrant High School) and she retired from Housing and Urban Development.

Mrs. England was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. England; parents, William G and Leavy Cornelius; a brother, W.G. Cornelius; a sister, Betty Lee Cornelius, and a great grandson, Styles Smith.

Mrs. England is survived by her son, Jim England (Donna) and her daughter, Tricia Brown (Don), of Fultondale; grandchildren; Brittany Burden (Derrick), April Schnur (Jonathan), Jamie Smith (Josh), Mandy Santiago (Jose'), and Tara Crowder; eleven great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Joyce England and Sharon Cornelius; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Walker Chapel Cemetery, 1200 Ellard Road, Fultondale, AL 35068.
