Mary Jo Smith

Beloved wife, happily married for the last 32 years to Richard Smith Sr. of the home. Together they shared the love of food, laughter, football, friends and family. They loved to travel together as well.

Treasured Bonus-Mom / Stepmom to Rick Smith Jr, Diana Stuzick, Misty McWilliams, Belinda McClellan and Jason Smith. She not only inherited motherhood, she earned it. She was so proud and doted on her 11 grandkids and 4 great-grandchildren.

Endeared friend to so many. Mo was incredibly gifted at bringing people together with her honesty, her loyalty and her extraordinary sense of humor. She was quick-witted, yet whimsical and loved to sparkle and shine. Mary Jo never met a stranger.

An avid bargain shopper and a Pinterest chef, you were never far away from a crazy time or a partially delectable concoction. Always unapologetically herself, MoJo loved to gamble and tell you about the new show or movie she was watching. Organized, yet forgetful; she was never late for a holiday, birthday anniversary or accomplishment.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Brumley Moore and her father Graden Curlee “Bilbo” Moore of Booneville, MS. She is survived by her husband, her kids, grandchildren and her many, many friends, family and acquaintances.
