he was born June 14, 1958 in Pavia, Italy. He proudly became a naturalized American citizen on June 24, 2002.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mario Grandi. He survived by his loving wife if 33 years, Teresa Jones Grandi of Hayden Al; his mother, Laura Toresini; sister, Margherita Grandi; niece, Elettra Riboni and nephew, Lorenzo Riboni all of San Genesio, Italy. Also survived by his dog Sally.
Massimo was employed for 34 years with Fresco-Systems USA. He enjoyed working his garden with his John Deere tractor. Most of all he was proud of being an American.
A visitation for Massimo will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Massimo will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071-2374.
